Wet felted merino wool with silk cloth, kozo paper and bamboo top creates the background for this piece. A relief technique creates a ladder with a 3-dimensional quality and lots of texture. The rabbit was needle felted out of wool while other details were added with silk dye, gold leaf, ink, and metallic foil.
